Service Pipeline

Automatic mileage tracking built into your service CRM

Service Pipeline includes a built-in mileage tracker for service businesses and mobile crews. Tap start and the app counts the miles from your shop to the customer, on to the next customer, and back again — then files each trip in a mileage log you can export at tax time. Crews already using live customer tracking get their mileage logged automatically the moment they start a trip, and anyone who would rather not share live location can use the mileage tracker on its own or enter trips by hand. 7-day free trial, then $25/month for the whole team.

Start a trip, and the miles take care of themselves

One tap starts the odometer. The app follows the drive with GPS and adds up real distance travelled, filtering out parking-lot jitter and bad signal jumps, so the number in your log is the number you actually drove. Tap end and the trip is saved with the date, time, route ends and mileage value.

To the job, to the next customer, and the trip back

Every trip is tagged so your log tells the whole story of the day: out to the first customer, across town to the next one, and the run back to the shop. Trips started from a dispatch job are linked to that job and technician automatically, so you can see the driving behind any single job.

Live tracking optional — mileage tracking is not

Sharing a live map with customers is a separate feature. If you'd rather not broadcast crew location, skip it entirely and use the mileage tracker on its own. You can also log a trip by hand with the start point, end point and miles, which is the fastest way to backfill a drive you forgot to record.

Tax-ready reports without a spreadsheet

Set your rate per mile once and the app values every business trip for you. Filter the log by month, see total business miles and the deduction they're worth, mark personal driving so it stays out of the total, and export the whole month to a CSV your accountant can drop straight into a return.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to use live customer tracking to track mileage?

No. The mileage tracker works on its own — press start when you leave and end when you arrive. Live tracking simply logs the mileage for you when you use it.

Can I add a trip I forgot to record?

Yes. Add a trip by hand with the date, start point, end point and miles, and it sits in the same log as the automatic ones.

What rate per mile does it use?

You set the rate, and it defaults to the current standard business mileage rate. Change it any time and new trips use the new number.

Does mileage tracking cost extra?

No. It's part of the flat $25/month plan along with the pipeline, calendar, booking, dispatch, invoicing and everything else.
